About The X Factor 2008

Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue are back on our screens for the fifth time - but for the first time without Sharon Osbourne! Girls Aloud superstar Cheryl Cole replaces Sharon as a judge after a string of alleged bust-ups with Simon Cowell - so with the new-look judging panel searching the length and breath of the country will they find the next Leona Lewis?

It's two years ago now that Leona landed the prize and having since gone on to be a global superstar she's certainly the best artist to come out of the four previous shows to date. Last year saw the forgotten talent of Leon Jackson win the final, but the Scottish youngster has failed to fulfil that potential and unless he's planning on making a reappearance during this year's show he looks as if he could be another talent show winning flop.

To keep the show fresh bosses has promised a few changes to the popular show, with the final winner still set to receive the £1million record deal and no doubt the standard Christmas number one.

Proceedings will once again be held together by Dermot O'Leary each week, who continues the presenting for a second year, while Holly Willoughby will be hosting ‘The Xtra Factor' show which goes behind the scenes each week. So with the nation sure to be gripped once more in the lead up the New Year, betting is expected to be as fierce as ever and here at easyodds.com we'll have all the markets covered, including winning act, winning manager, best male, best female, top group, category betting and many more.
